This was a really fun project I recently finished where I went through all of the concept and design stages/ decisions in one character. My Idea was to make a character that could fit into the Star Wars universe, so I had to base parts of her in reality like her shoes and head gear, and of course give her a flight and exploration companion as well.
Working around the head anatomy to fit this real life referenced pilot cap + eye gear was a fun challenge, that ultimately lead to an interesting design.
